Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. Although I would love to offer in-network services, I have in the past and it is simply not the best fit for me. What I CAN offer you is a superbill for your services received that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if your plan covers out-of-network care. Please call your company to verify this benefit.

But have you treated MY concern?

With over a decade of dedicated practice I’ve gained extensive clinical experience. This allows me to skillfully address a wide range of specific complaints, tailoring each treatment to meet the unique needs of the individual before me. My years of hands-on work have refined both my intuition and expertise, enabling me to support my patients with greater precision, care and confidence. If there is something you want to know more about my experience with, please schedule a 10 minute consult or shoot me a text and I would be more than happy to answer your specific questions regarding your health needs. You can also check out the list down below of what acupuncture treats.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Did you know that acupuncture needles are so thin—about the width of a human hair—that many people barely feel them at all? In fact, they’re so gentle that some patients become so relaxed they take a nap during their session, waking up feeling refreshed and balanced. The insertions may produce just a mild tingling, heaviness, or a brief dull ache that quickly subsides. I can honestly say that I have heard tons of positive feedback regarding my needling technique, “The most gentle and painless acupuncture that I have ever had!” is something that I commonly hear from new patients. Even the most sensitive of patients feel comfortable and confident with my gentle touch.

How many treatments will I need?

That’s a great question, and the honest answer is—it depends. The number of treatments you’ll need varies based on your specific condition, how long it’s been present, and your overall health and lifestyle. Acute issues often respond more quickly, sometimes improving in just a few sessions, while chronic or deeply rooted concerns typically require more consistent care over a longer period to achieve lasting change. My goal is always to create a treatment plan tailored to you, regularly reassessing your progress so we can adjust as your body begins to heal and strengthen.

How do I choose an acupuncturist?

When picking an acupuncturist, you want someone who’s not just licensed and skilled, but who also actually gets you. It’s all about feeling comfortable and heard — healing’s way more effective when you vibe with the person treating you. Look for someone who’s treated your kind of issues before, and whose space feels calm and welcoming. At the end of the day, trust your gut; the right acupuncturist is someone you click with and can team up with on your path to feeling better.

Can you give me a list of what acupuncture treats?

These are some of the most common reasons people come see me — it’s by no means the whole story, but I’ve had the honor of supporting many folks through all of these and beyond.
