Integrative Touch Therapy at True Nature Wellness: A Unique Offering Beyond Acupuncture

Chase Desso, LAc at his clinic True Nature Wellness in Sebastopol.

Some of you know me as an acupuncturist, and some of you may not know that I also offer Integrative Touch Therapy— a full bodywork session that blends several healing traditions.

This offering grew naturally out of my acupuncture practice. Over time, I began studying additional modalities like craniosacral therapy, medical qigong, therapeutic massage, and more. I would weave little pieces of these into acupuncture treatments — and patients loved it. They wanted more.

That’s how Integrative Touch Therapy was born: as its own 50- or 80-minute session designed to give you the full experience of these modalities in one restorative treatment.

What Is Integrative Touch Therapy?

Integrative Touch Therapy isn’t a cookie-cutter massage. It’s a unique blend of hands-on and energetic practices, tailored to you in the moment. Depending on your needs, a session may include:

  • Therapeutic massage techniques: myofascial release, deep tissue work, trigger point release (manual + with acupuncture needles), and active release methods

  • Craniosacral therapy to calm the nervous system and restore deep ease

  • Cupping & gua sha to release stagnation and support healing

  • Medical Qigong to balance energy and restore vitality

  • Acupressure & acupoint aromatherapy to harmonize and gently reset the body

  • Tuning forks & vibrational sound therapy to shift the nervous system through resonance

Why Patients Love It

Clients describe these sessions as:

  • Releasing deep tension and “stuck” energy

  • Creating space to truly relax and let go

  • Helping with stress, pain, and emotional heaviness

  • Improving sleep, recovery, and overall vitality

  • A safe, nurturing experience that reconnects them with their body

What to Expect

Sessions are available in 50 minutes (a focused reset) or 80 minutes (a deeper dive). Each one is unique and fully personalized — no two sessions are alike.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more in tune with yourself.
